Coach Crista
Founder, Head Coach, Athletic Health & Saftey Director

As a proud wife and mother, l've called the Camas/Washougal area home for over eight wonderful years. During this time, l've had the privilege of coaching youth cheer in Washougal for five years and led youth cheer in Camas after that. I have a long history in cheerleading but have been coaching for 7 years. I have a nursing career outside of cheerleading and utilize my knowledge to foster wellness and Saftey in all of our athletes.

I am BLS (basic life support) certified through The American Heart Association (amongst many other nursing certifications), WIAA Stunt Certified in WA State, USA Cheer Coach Certified, NFHS Coach Certified, and First Aid Certified through The American Red Cross.

My mission is to transform cheer into more than just another sport! Its about building a supportive cheer family within our small community, and watching our youth grow up together with strong bonds along the way. I love the camaraderie of living in a small community, let’s build that up together.

Anna Davidson, Rec-Competitive Cheer JR Coach

Anna has been cheering and competing since the age of 6 and is now in her 10th season of all-star cheer. A freshman at Camas High School, she is part of the varsity football cheer team in addition to cheering with Firehouse Elite (all star) on both a Senior 3 and Senior Coed Level 4 team.

Her cheer journey began on a prep team when VEGA offered cheerleading, then continued at Empire Athletics where she competed levels 1-4, from Mini through Senior ages. Along the way, Anna was also a part of sideline cheer at Skyridge Middle School before moving up to varsity at Camas High.

An experienced tumbler and stunter, Anna loves mentoring younger athletes and supporting athletes with special needs. Outside of the gym, she enjoys reading, art and design, and is passionate about teamwork, leadership, and sharing her love of cheer with others.

Lexi McConville, Sideline Cheer JR Coach

My name is Lexi, and I am a senior at Washougal High School as well as a proud member of the varsity cheer team. I have been involved in cheerleading for 13 years and have spent the past 4 years coaching. Cheer has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I am excited to continue sharing my experience and love for the sport for many years to come.

Lexi is an honor student at WHS, and is heavily involved in extra curricular actives. She is an excellent mentor. Lexi was coached by Coach Crista for 5 years (alongside her sibilings), before moving on to high school and transitioning into cheer at WHS. She is planning on going to college and is still undecided on where that will be.

Cameryn Braun, Rec-Competitive & Sideline Cheer JR Coach

Cameryn is a student at Hayes Freedom High School. She has been a Girl Scout for the past 7 years and enjoys her leadership roles within that community. She is First Aid/CPR Certified and wants to become a Firefighter-EMT after high school. She completed the CIT ) Councilor in Training Program at both Camp Cleowax (Girl Scouts) and Camp Collins (YMCA). Cameryn has a long history of working with children and loves coaching! Cameryn is a trained JR coach for both Sideline and Rec-Competitive Cheer, has a USA JR Coach Cheer certification, alongside an NFHS concussion awareness certification.

Dakota, Marketing Coordinator

Dakota is the face behind the scenes, creating fun digital content for our social media accounts, flyers and more. Dakota is in High School at Camas Connect Academy and is excited to travel the world one day! She plans to attend college in WA State and see where life takes her after. She wants to go into the medical field, and become a phlebotomist.

Sharon Lamb, Cofounder & Honorary Coach

Sharon Lamb is recognized as a Cofounder and Honorary Coach of Camas Washougal Youth Cheer in appreciation of her foundational support and lasting impact on our organization. She is a frequent guest coach and has a life-long place with CWY Cheer.
